Located in Istanbul’s historic Zeyrek neighborhood, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the hamam takes its name from the İznik tiles that once adorned its interiors. Today it brings together a traditional bath, a museum, a reading room and venues for exhibitions, public programs and gatherings.
At Basework, we developed the front-end and content management system of the Zeyrek Çinili Hamam website, creating a digital experience that carries the calm, refined atmosphere of the space and the depth of its history.
We structured the hammam experience, the museum and its collections, exhibitions, events and visitor information within a clear information architecture, so that guests can move easily from discovering the building’s history to planning their visit and booking a treatment.
Built on a bilingual and modular WordPress infrastructure, the site allows the team to manage exhibitions, events, collections and press content on their own while preserving the visual integrity of the brand.
The website brings Zeyrek Çinili Hamam’s history, cultural program and visitor experience together. Its content system supports updates across these areas while preserving the venue’s visual character.
