This notice explains which personal data BASE TASARIM TEKNOLOJİ HİZMETLERİ LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“Basework”) processes through www.basework.studio (the “Site”), why and on what legal basis we process it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). It also serves as our information notice under Article 10 of KVKK.

Personal Data We Process

Depending on how you use the Site, we may process the following personal data:

Contact form: Your full name, company name, email address, phone number, the content of your message and the project needs you select.
Newsletter subscription: The email address and subscription preference you share through the newsletter field in the footer, on the blog page or in the contact form.
Email correspondence: Information you share when you email us directly.
Automatically collected data: Usage data such as your IP address, browser and device information, language preference, pages visited, referring source, visit duration and interactions on the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

You only need to fill in the required fields of our forms. If required fields are left empty, we may not be able to respond to your request.

To respond to requests, inquiries and questions sent through the contact form or by email;
To assess your project needs and carry out business discussions with you;

Processing directly related to entering into or performing a contract: Assessing the project and quotation requests you send through the contact form or by email.
Our legitimate interests: Responding to your requests, keeping the Site secure and functional, and using strictly necessary cookies.
Compliance with our legal obligations: Retention and notification obligations arising from legislation.
Your explicit consent: Using analytics and marketing cookies, transferring the related data to service providers abroad, and sending commercial electronic messages such as our newsletter. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Cookies and the Services We Use

Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the Site to work, stay secure and remember your preferences (for example, your language). These do not depend on your consent.

Sharing and Transfers of Personal Data

We may share your personal data only for the purposes described in this notice, and only as far as necessary, with:

Suppliers that provide infrastructure services such as hosting, email, forms and newsletter delivery;
Google and Meta for analytics and ad measurement, if you have given consent;
Public authorities and courts that are legally entitled to request it.

Because some of our service providers, such as Google and Meta, have servers outside Türkiye, data processed through these services may be transferred abroad. Such transfers are carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of KVKK.

Retention Periods

We keep your personal data for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods required by the relevant legislation:

Contact form submissions and email correspondence: for a reasonable period after your request is concluded, for potential disputes and the continuation of the business relationship; if a contract is concluded, for the periods required by the relevant legislation.
Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe; the record of your unsubscription is kept for the period required by legislation.
Cookies and analytics data: for the period defined in the settings of the relevant cookie and service.

Personal data whose retention period has expired is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

Your Rights Under KVKK

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to apply to us to:

Learn whether your personal data is processed;
Request information if it has been processed;
Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly;
Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred;
Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate;
Request its deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of KVKK;
Request that corrections, deletions or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom it was transferred;
Object to a result against you arising exclusively from analysis by automated systems;
Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

How to Submit a Request

In line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can send your requests in writing to Küçükbakkalköy Mah. Yüksel Sokak No: 10A, 34750 Ataşehir, Istanbul, Türkiye; with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature; or from the email address you previously provided to us and that is registered in our systems, to info@basework.studio. Your request must clearly state your identity and what you are requesting.

We will conclude your request free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on its nature. If the request involves an additional cost, a fee may be charged in line with the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.

Security of Personal Data

We take appropriate administrative and technical measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration and disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s Personal Data

The Site is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you become aware that a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice to reflect changes in our services or in legislation. The current version is always published on this page, with its effective date shown at the top.
