At Basework, we developed a high-performance, elegant, and user-friendly website that captures the studio’s sophisticated design philosophy and translates it into a seamless digital experience.
Our primary goal was to create a platform that allows Rüya Akyol Studio to present its portfolio, design stories, and creative process with clarity and elegance. To achieve this, we managed both the front-end development and content management system (CMS) processes end-to-end.
Built on a modular WordPress CMS, the platform enables the studio to easily update its projects, add new visuals, or refine written content without technical constraints. This modular structure ensures long-term flexibility while maintaining visual consistency throughout the site.
On the front-end, we focused on creating a timeless, fluid, and visually immersive interface. The site’s design is minimal yet expressive — supported by micro-animations and smooth transitions that enhance storytelling and reflect the studio’s refined aesthetic sensibility. Each motion element was designed to feel intentional and organic, reinforcing the emotional tone behind the studio’s work.
Performance and accessibility were key priorities throughout the development process. By optimizing for Core Web Vitals, we ensured fast loading times, responsive interaction, and a smooth experience across all devices. Every aspect of the website — from layout to media handling — was fine-tuned to achieve balance between performance and visual sophistication.
