İstanbul Resim Heykel Müzesi

As the first fine arts museum established during the Republic era, it preserves and exhibits a vast collection that reflects the evolution of modern Turkish art.

At Basework, we contributed to the museum’s digital transformation journey by managing the full development and maintenance of its corporate website. The project included front-end development, WordPress infrastructure, CMS integration, and ongoing technical support. Our goal was to create a high-performance, accessible, and visually elegant digital platform that allows visitors to easily explore exhibitions, events, and collections.

We built a modular CMS architecture that enables the museum’s team to manage and update content — including exhibitions, events, collections, and announcements — with ease. This flexible system ensures that the site can evolve alongside the museum’s programming, making it a dynamic and engaging space for visitors.

From a user experience perspective, we designed a clear, intuitive, and visually rich interface that highlights artworks and collections while maintaining simplicity and accessibility. The visual design was shaped around the museum’s artistic identity, balancing elegance with functionality.

On the performance side, the website was optimized according to Core Web Vitals standards, ensuring fast load times, strong SEO performance, and stable functionality across all devices. We also provide ongoing maintenance and technical support to keep the platform secure, up to date, and high-performing at all times.

The result is a modern, user-friendly, and sustainable website that successfully brings the Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture’s artistic legacy into the digital age. At Basework, we combined our expertise in front-end development and WordPress CMS to craft a timeless digital presence for one of Turkey’s most important cultural institutions.
